Process

Pre-Cleaning

As the first step, the paddy is cleaned of impurities like dust, stones and all other foreign matter that accumulates while harvesting the crop.

Soaking

After cleaning is complete, paddy is soaked in hot/ cold water to make golden sella or creamy sella varieties, as per the requirement. If we require steamed rice, then the paddy is steamed in the tanks for some time.

Drying

Thereafter, paddy is forwarded to the dryers for the process of drying and reducing the moisture content therein, as per the desired levels.

De-Husking

This is an important step wherein the husk is separated from the rice kernels.

Polishing

After de-husking, the rice kernels are sent to polishers. Here, bran layer is removed from the rice kernels which is subsequently used for manufacturing rice bran oil.

Sortex and Grading

Now, the polished rice is progressed towards the sortex and grading unit. This machine segregates the damaged and discolored grains from good quality ones. The rice are now graded as per the length of the grains.

Packing

The final step involves the final product being received in the tanks where the grains are packed as per the requirement and then dispatched to its ultimate destination.
